The early 2010s was a dynamic time for the proliferation of connected technology. In 2014, SAP acquired the Software as a Service (SaaS) company Concur for $8.3 billion, in what was the largest SaaS acquisition to date. If we fast forward a few more years to 2020, we can see this to be true.
